Today, I simply feel grateful because I am inclined to write about gratitude. Today it is easy to feel grateful.  The sun is shining.  Nothing in my body hurts.  I have time to go to the gym.  Plans for the day include spending time with a treasured niece, and a fun night out with friends later on. Writing down a gratitude list helps me.  On days when I am not feeling so cheerful and optimistic,  when it is harder to remember all of the things in my life for which I am grateful, I refer back to my gratitude list.
