Kindness
Today, I am thinking about kindness. We all aspire to be kind, yet struggle to be kind to ourselves. We have an idea that this is selfish or self-indulgent, or that we don’t deserve to be treated with kindness. How can we be kind people when we leave ourselves out of the equation? Just for today, make a decision to include yourself in the circle of kindness.

Time for You
One of the most precious gifts that we can give to ourselves, is quiet time. When life gets hectic and busy, we often say, “I just don’t have time for myself”. Try to make the goal realistic for your life. Maybe time for yourself means 5 minutes a day. Maybe you can only manage 2 minutes. Even 2 minutes of just sitting quietly is beneficial. Don’t worry if your mind is racing. Just notice it... that is the beginning of time for you.
